The signs are all placed, the postcards addressed and posted, the forums completed, the newspaper ad's placed and published, and the radio ad's and interviews completed and on the airways, it is now in the hands of the voters of District #71! ELECTION DAY is here! Remember to vote November 4, 2008. I want to give special thanks to so many people, The Marion Co. Democratic Committee for all their help and support, The Campaign for Change, Nick in particular for allowing me to be part of the Obama campaign. Sheila Weldon, Phyllis Weeks, and all the folks who helped and were supportive. I particularly want to thank my campaign manager, Jason Kyte and my Campaign Treasurer Arvin Van Zante. And my whole family who have been supportive emotionally and financially!

KNOXVILLE SPRINT CAR PARADE! Wow! What a great day, and a great parade. My first Knoxville National's parade, the people were great, the floats and the organization was wonderful...Big Morning.

MONROE FOUNDERS DAY PARADE!  Walked the route in Monroe, more fun, and great people, the floats and special care were amazing! Such great people who live in this district! I am looking forward to representing you all.

GOP vs.Democrat's in Pella Thursday night on the square water fights! The GOP won the whole event...It great they will win SOMETHING this year! Always enjoy the Thursdays on the Square....as did my kids. Thanks to the Monroe Firefighter who wore one of my T-shirt and lead the brigade there! Dem's did win in their second round! Good job to all. Thank Hope Church..great food!
